WLB Season 8


We are now accepting applications (here) for Season eight contestents on Win, Lose, or Blog! Last season our 7 contestants lost over 100 pounds in 7 weeks! Win, Lose, or Blog is a Big Loser inspired weight loss challenge for the blogging world. Health & Fitness are my passions in life and I hope this competition will inspire others to lead healthier lifes too! I have been working with four fabulous ladies to create this fun and exciting new blog. This season we are hoping to have past contestants compete against new contestants so come one, come all and APPLY NOW!

Day One

Today is the first day of Season Six on Win, Lose or Blog!! For the next seven weeks I will be blogging on my page over there. So far I have started the day off great. Had me my breakfast shake and now I am going to go and try to do my workout while my son awake and he doesn't have preschool this week. Its going to be a challenge to workout but I will do it! He will just have to workout with me! :0)

Pizzafied Chicken

Pizzafied Chicken = YUM!
I have to share this recipe because well its fantastic. Even my dieting hating, not a fan of chicken husband LOVES this and requests for it often.

 The recipe I have is for one serving so I will just tell you what I did last night.
1 onion
1 green bell pepper
Mushrooms (if you like them)
Use cooking spray in pan and at med-high heat cook veggies until soft.
In seperate pan:
Pound chicken and then season with Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder and Garlic Powder.
Cook in nonstick pan with cooking spray. Cook 3 mins on each side.

Then miz Crushed Tomatoes with more Salt, Pepper, Garlic and Onion Powder. Poor over chicken.
Then peal string cheese and put ontop of chicken.
Poor Veggies over the chicken and then put on Turkey Pepperoni. I put about 5 pieces per chicken breast.
Cover and cook another 1-2mins.

I'm a Contestant!!

I’m a Season 6 Contestant for the Win, Lose or Blog Contest!! I can not believe it! I am so excited to lose more weight. I just bought a scale the other day because I have to send in pictures of my weight every Sunday to weigh in. Now I was disappointed to find out that my scale has me weighing 3 more pounds than my Wii Fit scale. SUCH a bummer but I will go off this weight from now on. Hey that still means I’ve lost 8 pounds in almost 6 weeks. I will take that! With my birthday this weekend and my anniversary next weekend I know I am going to have some slip ups but I will hold strong after that. Yay for a skinnier me!!

I'm getting closer....

I can't believe it. I am down another 5 pounds since my last entry. I am 7 pounds away from my pre pregnancy weight! Is that my ending goal? NO WAY! I took my measurements when I started Insanity and now that I have been going at it and finished one whole month they have you measure again. I have lost 5 inches total. Not in my waist 5 inches but like .5 here and 1 there and .5 in another area. Its a start and with the colder season right around the corner I would really like to fit into all my clothes...mainly my jeans. My ghetto booty is my main problem area. Or course I have bigger arms than I'd like and a donut around my waist....but I don't want to go out and buy new clothes. Unless they are a size 6! :0)
Some awesome news...I am in the Win, Lose Blog Competition!!! YAY ME!! I am so excited to start on this journey with these women. Motivation is one thing but support is another and I can take all the support I can get.

I will lose this weight!

I have been trying to lose this weight now for about 5 weeks. Where have I gone? Pretty much crazy. I have tried to stop the sugar in take and its super hard with a husband who can eat what he wants all day long and a a child who is given candy all the time by those around him. I constantly have temptation in my house. I am burning a rough estimated 400 calories breastfeeding and it might help me lose weight if I just stayed away from the junk food. So I'm trying. Offically I have been working out everyday for 2 weeks. (5times a day) Since I don't have an actual scale at my home I can only weigh myself when I go to my moms. Currently today I used my Wii Fit and it says that I am 5 pounds lighter than when I stepped on my moms scale. YAY for results!! I have limited myself to yogurt on saturdays so that I have something to look forward to..but I am going to cut that all out soon. I know I can do this I just need some more support and a husband to stop bringing junk in this house! Love you babe!!
